Marina Mandić

Marina Mandić was born in 1987. in Sremska Mitrovica, where she finished high school.
She graduated at Ethnology and Anthropology Department at Faculty of Philosophy Belgrade in 2013, where she also graduated her MA studies in 2014, with thesis named “Black diamonds: the study of “dark” subcultures in Belgrade. Currently, she is enrolled in PhD studies at Ethnology and Anthropology Department. Since 2018. she is employed at The Institute of Ethnography SASA.
She’s interested in popular culture and horror film research, medical anthropology and anthropology of subcultures.
