Miloš Rašić

Miloš Rašić was born in 1991 in Zrenjanin, where he also finished both primary and high school. He completed his graduate studies at the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade in 2014. In 2015 he finished his master's degree at the same department with thesis "Dance Anthropology: Analysis of the Carnival Dances of Romaninans in Grebenac as a Marker of Ethnic Identity". His thesis won the award for the best MA paper in 2015. In the same year, he began his PhD studies. He is studying Serbian guest workers living in the West European countries, with a focus on the Serbs in Austria.

For two years he worked as a curator in the Museum of Yugoslav History. In the school year 2015/2016 he worked as a teaching associate at the Faculty of Philosophy. Since October 2016, he has been employed at the Institute of Ethnography SASA, and in November the same year, he becomes an associate of the Serbian National Folk Dance Ensemble „Kolo“.

He is interested in: anthropological approach to dance, music, migrations and identity
