From October 12th to 13th 2020, Jadranka Đorđević Crnobrnja,PhD, Senior Research Associate of the SASA Institute of Ethnography, was a guest of the “Gračanica” cultural centre in Gračanica (Kosovo and Metohija). On that occasion, during the forum “The position of women and patriarchal values in the Gorani community in Kosovo and Metohija in isolated areas”, she spoke about the clothing customs of Gorani women, pointing out the position of women in that community and focusing on their role in constructing cultural and social values as well as the symbols of Gorani community. The forum was organized as part of the project” Isolated areas, fear and culture as freedom” organized by the associates of the “Gračanica” cultural centre.
