Associates of the Ethnographic Institute SANU Teodora Jovanović, PhD, research associate, Marta Stojić Mitrović, PhD, senior research associate, Ivan Đorđević, PhD, senior research associate and Miroslava Lukić Krstanović, PhD, retired principal research fellow, participated in the Summer Program on Migration and Borders in Belgrade.
The organizers of the program are the Center on Forced Displacement of Boston University and the MIGREC Center of the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. This year, 15 young people from Serbia and the United States are attending the program.
In addition to working on program development and moderating various panels, Teodora Jovanović, PhD, conducted an ethnographic sensory walk through Belgrade and spoke on the panel "Ethics of Engaged Research". Marta Stojić Mitrović, PhD, spoke on the panel "Migration Securitization and Borderlands in Contexts of Unequal Power Dynamics". Ivan Đorđević, PhD, presented research experiences within the panel "Ethics of Engaged Research". Miroslava Lukić Krstanović, PhD, participated in the panel "Humanitarianism".
