The SASA Institute of Ethnography associates Jadranka Đorđević Crnobrnja, PhD, Đorđina Trubarac Matić, PhD, Bojana Bogdanović, PhD, and Milan Tomašević, PhD, participated in the international scientific conference Anthropology of Uncertainty. Society and Culture in Precarious Times. The conference was held in Blagoevgrad (Bulgaria) from October 12 to14, 2024. More than 30 presenters from Bulgaria, Serbia, the United States, Turkey and Greece took part in the conference as part of the planned activities within a long-term inter-academic project “Living in the Age of Permanent Crisis. Social and Cultural Dimensions” organized by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The conference papers will be published in an international thematic volume in 2025.
