Scientific conference Mediterranean Landscape: Identity and the Life of the People of Dalmatia, organized by the SASA Institute of Ethnography and the Dalmatian Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church was held from October 1-4. More than 20 presenters took part in the conference including the members of the SASA Institute of Ethnography. 

Professor Dragana Radojičić, PhD, presented the topic “Clothing as a Symbol of the Interweaving of the Culture of the West and the East in Dalmatia”. Gordana Blagojević, PhD, gave a notable presentation “The Christian Name in Dalmatia: Then and Now”. Milesa Stefanović-Banović presented the paper “Archival Sources of Emigrants from Dalmatia and the Bay of Kotor in Argentina”, while Mikonja Knežević, PhD, discussed several previously underexplored aspects of the theological work of Dalmatian Bishop Nikodim Milaš (“Bishop Nikodim Milaš and the Teaching on the Filoque”). 

The conference papers will be published in an international thematic volume by the end of 2025.
