Jadranka Đorđević Crnobrnja, PhD, principal research fellow, and Nina Aksić, PhD, senior research associate, participated in the XII International Scientific Symposium for Balkan Folklore: “Folkloristics and Cultural Heritage” held on November, 22, 2024 in Skopje (the Republic of North Macedonia). The symposium was organized by “Marko Cepenkov” Institute of Folklore from Skopje. Jadranka Đorđević Crnobrnja presented her topic “Wedding as an Example of Ethnological Research on Elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Gorani Community”, while Nina Aksić, PhD, presented her paper on the topic “Modern Alternative Phenomenon: Short Internet Forms and Music in Dialect.” The symposium featured 46 presenters from the Republic of North Macedonia, the Republic of Serbia, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Slovenia.
