On Tuesday, December 26, at the National Museum of Belgrade, awards were given to citizen science research projects that received funds for their implementation at the First National Public Call of the Center for the Promotion of Science. The project of the SASA Institute of Ethnography “Heritage of Emancipation: Empowering Roma Women through Networks of Solidarity (HEROINES)”, is one of the six projects – out of 130 project proposals - that the Center for the Promotion of Science will finance in the upcoming period. The awards were presented by the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Jelena Begović, PhD.

Ivan Đorđević, PhD, senior research associate of the SASA Institute of Ethnography and the leader of the project received the award on behalf of the project team.
