The promotion of the book Gregorius Palamas and David Disypatos. Srcipta minora. Versio Serbica co-authored by the associates of the SASA Institute of Ethnography, Mikonja Knežević, PhD, and Milesa Stefanović-Banović, PhD, was held on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 at the Amphitheatre of the National Library of Serbia. Apart from the authors, professor Dragana Radojičić, PhD, director of the SASA Institute of Ethnography, Aleksandar Đakovac, PhD, assistant professor at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, University of Belgrade, and Filip Ivanović, PhD, assistant research professor at the Institute of Advanced Studies, University of Montenegro, also spoke about the book at the event.

Professor Dragana Radojičić, PhD, pointed out the importance of publishing archival materials, the importance of humanities in the modern era, as well as the outstanding contribution of this book when it comes to the Serbian medieval studies. Aleksandar Đakovac highlighted the significance of the critical edition of the Serbo-Slavic translations of Gregorius Palamas and David Disypatos, and especially the careful comparison of the Greek and Serbo-Slavic text and the quality of the translation into contemporary Serbian language. Filip Ivanović, PhD, referred to the introductory studies that accompany the original texts, underlining their interdisciplinary character and thoroughness the authors had when analysing the original material.
