Bojana Bogdanović, PhD, and Nina Aksić, PhD, associates of the SASA Institute of Ethnography, stayed in Timisoara from July 5th to 9th, 2023, where they participated in the implementation of planned activities within the project “Research of History and Culture of Serbs in Romania”. In this phase of the project, the creation of a digital archive of the field data, which has been gathered in the researched Serbian communities in the Romanian part of the Banat since 2016, was started. In addition, the following project activities have been agreed for September, 2023, which includes the return of the researches of the SASA Institute of Ethnography to the field, with the aim of gathering data related to the culture of Serbs who inhabit the border area of Romania and Serbia.

The project “Research of History and Culture of Serbs in Romania” is organised by the Scientific Research and Culture Centre of Serbs in Romania (Timisoara).
