SASA Institute of Ethnography announces a Call for applications for the SASA IE Awards for scientific contribution in the field of ethnology and anthropology. The awards are granted for achievements in ethnological and anthropological research carried out within a four-year period, as well as for overall professional activity and contributions in the field of ethnology and anthropology.

1. The award is granted to individuals for the previous four-year period (from 2022 to 2025) for the publication of results from ethnological and anthropological research realized in monographs completed before the closing date of the Call.

2. The award is granted for overall professional activity and contributions to ethnological and anthropological research, their organization, implementation, and publication of results, as well as contributions to the development of ethnological and anthropological institutions.

The Call is open until September 1, 2025. Nominations may be submitted by institutions or individuals. Each nomination must include a written explanation of up to 10,000 characters.
