First training - Community Mapping of Women Emancipation, took place on 22nd and 25th of April 2024 at the Office for Roma Issues, GO Kostolac. The training focused on the community mapping principles and methods adjusted to the topic of women emancipation. First segment of the training provided the future moderators with the concept of emancipation, with the principles of community mapping method and finally with the types, organization, and implementation of focus groups. The second segment thoroughly acquainted the moderators with the planned filed work approach by going through the provided Guide for researching women emancipation step-by-step. Special attention was placed on the ways in which the collected dana will be visually presented for the final deliverables of the HEORINES project. The gained knowledge on community mapping methods will be applied during local focus groups planed for the second half of this year. Training was lead and implemented by dr Miloš Rašić (Institute of Ethnography SASA), dr Milena Jokanović (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade) and dr Bojana Bogdanović (Institute of Ethnography SASA).
