Research associate at the SASA Institute of Ethnography, Jelena Vukićević, PhD, participated in the seminar "World Congress Foucault: 40 Years Later, Belgrade," organized by the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, along with her colleagues from the institute, Adriana Zaharijević, PhD, principal research fellow, andTamara Plećaš, PhD, research associate. The seminar was moderated by Milan Urošević, PhD, research associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory. Participants discussed the significance of Foucault's work for their research and how they have applied his ideas. They also addressed the importance and potential application of Foucault's concepts and methods in contemporary social contexts, as well as the relevance of Foucault's work for modern social and humanities sciences.
