On Monday, November 18, 2024, a meeting took place at the Institute of Ethnography SASA between the project team members from the IE SASA and the Roma Women's Center "Bibija" from Belgrade, who are jointly implementing the HEROINES project, and representatives of the UN Trust Fund. The visit was part of an official monitoring mission to the Republic of Serbia for a project dedicated to eradicating the harmful practice of child marriage, implemented by the Roma Women's Center "Bibija." During the meeting, the long-standing and fruitful collaboration between the Institute of Ethnography SASA and the Roma Women's Network "Bibija" was showcased, with a particular focus on the projects these two partner organizations have implemented together. The HEROINES project, currently in progress, was highlighted as especially significant. The representatives from the UN Trust Fund were welcomed by the Director of the Institute of Ethnography SASA, Dr. Branko Banović.
