The promotion of the two-volume monograph “Serbs in Romania”, a joint publication of the Union of Serbs in Romania (Timisoara) and the SASA Institute of Ethnography, was held in the Union of Serbs in Romania (Timisoara) on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023. The first volume “Ethnological Research and Synesis: Heritage, Culture, Origins” ,was authored by Ivica Todorović, PhD, and Nina Aksić, PhD, while the second volume “Ethnological Research of Christmas, Slava and Weddings”, was authored by Milina Ivanović Barišić, PhD, Đorđina Trubarac Matić, PhD, and Bojana Bogdanović, PhD. Professor Mihai Milja Radan, PhD, the manager of the project Research of Culture and History of Serbs in Romania, organised by the Scientific Research and Culture Centre of Serbs in Romania (Timisoara) and Mladena Prelić, PhD, the president of the Scientific Council of the SASA Institute of Ethnography spoke at the promotion on behalf of the publishers. Gordana Blagojević, PhD, monograph reviewer, spoke about the importance of publishing the results of the modern research into the life and culture of Serbs outside their homeland, while Milina Ivanović Barišić, PhD, addressed the audience on behalf of the authors` team. Vladan Tadić, Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Romania, also greeted the audience
