The SASA Institute of Ethnography, in cooperation with the Belgrade City Museum, has the honour of inviting you to the promotion of the scientific monograph, “Imagined Homeland - Clubs, Identity and Integration of Serbian Guest Workers in Vienna”, by Miloš Rašić, PhD, a research associate of the SASA Institute of Ethnography. In this monograph, the author presents his long-term ethnographic research that he carried out in Austria and Serbia. The study considers various aspects of the construction and presentation of the cultural and national identity of Serbian guest workers in Vienna, the processes of self-organization of this cultural group and aspects of their integration into the Austrian socio-political system.

The promotion of the latest monograph of the SASA Institute of Ethnography will be held on November 29, starting at 6 p.m., at Princess Ljubica's Residence.
