In 2022, the SASA Institute of Ethnography - the leading scientific-research institution in Serbia dealing with ethnological-anthropological studies of society and culture - celebrates its 75th anniversary. The jubilee celebration of one of the Academy`s oldest institutes is called “Never Younger!” and represents a unique opportunity to look into the future of anthropology as a discipline, but also the world we live in.

As part of the jubilee celebrations, which are planned for September 2022, a number of activities in different locations have been planned. The key activities that stand out are the scientific conference “Anthropology of the future” (Viminacium Archaeological Park”, 8th and 9th September), a formal academy in the Palace of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Belgrade, 14th September) and the promotion of joint publications of the SASA Institute of Ethnography and the Archives of Vojvodina (Novi Sad, 27th September).

The content that the SASA Institute of Ethnography will use to mark this important jubilee aims to unite the scientific community and society, and promote science, scientific literacy and scientific culture.
