The third issue of the Bulletin of the SASA Institute of Ethnography for 2022 has been published. The topic of the current issue, entitled “Women and Education in Serbia and Argentina-XX and XXI century”, was edited by Nina Aksić, PhD, a research associate of the SASA Institute of Ethnography and Ivana Arsić, PhD, a research associate of the Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade. The issue consists of seven papers that are chronologically, linearly and territorially divided into two thematic groups. The education of women is observed, first of all, from its early beginnings in the middle of the 19th century in the system of informal education, until the representation of women in the sphere of higher education in the 21st century, and is seen through both the Serbian and Argentinian prism. In addition, the influence of society and politics on the education of girls and women in general, the influence of family, tradition and religion on education, the process of the feminization of the education system, as well as the position of women in higher and artistic education, are viewed from different theoretical and methodological positions by the authors of multilateral professional commitment and professional engagement.
