Anđelka Živojinović, MA, Research Trainee at the Institute of Ethnography SASA, participated in the conference “Ecology, Politics, Media: 50 Years of Social Ecology in Serbia,” held on 25 September 2026 at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade.

As part of the “Urban Ecology and Sustainable Development” session, she presented a paper entitled “Thirst for a Solution: An Anthropological Analysis of Everyday Experiences of the Water Supply Crisis in Zrenjanin.”

The programme was organised into four thematic sessions: climate change, strategies and environmental security; media, environmental discourse and political representation; environmental policy, justice, environmental law and political parties; and urban ecology and sustainable development. The conference brought together professors, researchers and experts from various disciplines.
