The West University of Timisoara hosted the 10th international scientific conference “Material and Spiritual Culture of Serbs in Multi-ethnic Environments and/or Peripheral Areas”, which took place from October 18-20, 2024. Bojana Bogdanović, PhD, senior research associate at the SASA Institute of Ethnography, was invited to participate in this scientific conference organized by the West University of Timisoara, the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš and the Scientific Research and Culture Centre of Serbs in Romania within the Union of Serbs in Romania. She presented the results of the field research of the wedding customs among Serbs in Romanian part of Banat that was realized as part of the project Research of History and Culture of Serbs in Romania organised by the Scientific Research and Culture Centre of Serbs in Romania (Timisoara) within the Union of Serbs in Romania.

As part of the international conference, promotion of the monograph “Serbs in Romania”, published by the Union of Serbs of Romania and the SASA Institute of Ethnography, was held. Bojana Bogdanović, PhD, spoke about the scientific publication on behalf of the authors.
