It is with deep sadness that we regret to inform you that our beloved colleague Aleksandar Krel, PhD, passed away on October 2nd 2021. Serbian ethnology and anthropology has lost a valuable scientist too soon. We are left, first of all, without a friend and then a colleague. A sharp minded man with a cheerful spirit, always willing to help and, more importantly, support and encourage whenever needed, both privately and professionally. Aleksandar was, and always will remain, a great example of what members of an academic community should represent.
