On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the Institute of Ethnography SASA hosted a working meeting with partner organizations involved in the HEROINE project. Attendees included members of the Institute’s project team, the Roma Women’s Center "Bibija" from Belgrade, the “Successful Women” Association from Kostolac, and the “Ternipe” Association from Pirot. During the meeting, participants reviewed the project’s progress, focusing on recent focus group discussions held across three locations (Belgrade, Kostolac, and Pirot). They also mapped out upcoming activities, with special attention given to an exhibition and publication planned for 2025. Additionally, the meeting included discussions on the “Handbook for Mapping the Heritage of Women's Emancipation” and its scheduled promotion in Belgrade during the Month of Roma Women's Activism (March 8 – April 8, 2025).

The next project activity is scheduled for November 16, when team members will collaborate to identify and document key milestones in Roma women’s emancipation.
