The promotion of the monograph “Be Knowledgeable. Records in Serbian Manuscripts of Szentendre`s Collection” by Milesa Stefanović-Banović, PhD, Senior Research Associate at the SASA Institute of Ethnography, will be held in the Serbian Church Museum of Szentendre on November 19, 2022,starting at 3:30 pm. This book, published by the SASA Institute of Ethnography, the Serbian Church Museum of Szentendre and BERNAR publishing house, uses historical, cultural, textual, stylistic and linguistic analyses to establish a new image of records from Szentendre’s manuscript collection, kept in the Library of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Buda, in Szentendre, one of the most important Serbian cultural institutions outside Serbia.

The organizers of the promotion of the monograph, which contributes to a better understanding of the events and times in which the records were created, as well as the conditions in which the Serbian people lived and worked in the new areas after the Great Migration of 1690, are the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Buda and the Serbian Church Museum in Szentendre.
